At Atelier A34, we believe in creating meaningful spaces that are not only timeless and functional, but also deeply connected to the lives of the people who inhabit them. Based in Istanbul, we operate at the intersection of architecture, interior design, and product design, seamlessly moving between different scales of work. What truly sets us apart is our ongoing exploration of conventional materials in unconventional ways, constantly pushing the boundaries of how materiality can shape space, experience, and atmosphere.

For us, materials are more than just construction elements—they are tools for storytelling. By rethinking familiar substances and techniques, we uncover fresh possibilities that bring new life and meaning to spaces. Each project is approached as an opportunity to experiment with texture, detail, and form, while never losing sight of practicality and functionality. This balance between aesthetic sensibility and everyday usability defines our design ethos.

Our projects are always rooted in context. We design with a sensitivity to surroundings, aiming to create dialogues with the urban fabric, history, and cultural narratives of each site. Whether it’s a private interior, a public building, or a piece of furniture, our work strives to leave a thoughtful and lasting impact, engaging users both visually and experientially.

Beyond practice, research and education play a central role in who we are. We are actively involved in academic studies, workshops, and lectures, which continuously enrich our design perspective. This interplay between research and practice allows us to remain at the forefront of architectural thinking, exploring sustainability, material innovation, and user experience in depth. By bridging academic exploration with real-world application, we ensure that our designs are both grounded and forward-looking.

Atelier A34 is more than a design studio—it is a platform where ideas, materials, and people meet. Our mission is to craft spaces that are not only beautiful and functional, but also meaningful, responsible, and enduring.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

After completing his architectural education at ÖzyeÄŸin University, he pursued a Master’s degree in Architecture at TU Delft in the Netherlands. During his academic studies, he focused on architectural design, material technologies, and sustainability in the built environment. At TU Delft, he contributed to research projects on architectural materials and also took part in teaching activities. The research-driven and critical perspective he developed in this period continues to inform his practice, where he seeks to generate experimental and innovative design solutions.

Deepening his material-oriented design approach particularly through experimental concrete studies, Fatih co-edited a published book on concrete research abroad. He has worked on architectural and interior projects of varying scales both in Turkey and internationally, always aiming to create context-specific, functional, and aesthetically refined solutions. Alongside his professional practice, he has taught in various international workshops and contributed to academic publications.
